Reiki (pronounced RAY-key)
Reiki means ‘Universal Life Energy’ and is a Japanese healing technique for transmitting life energy by placing the hands gently in specific positions either on or above the body for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing. Reiki practitioners channel energy in a particular pattern to heal and harmonize. Unlike other healing therapies based on the premise of a human energy field, Reiki seeks to restore order to the body whose vital energy has become unbalanced. Reiki is very effective for stress related problems.
Healing Touch
Healing Touch is derived from an ancient technique called laying-on of hands, it is an energy based approach to health and healing used to accelerate wound healing, relieve pain, promote relaxation, prevent illness and ease the dying process. Healing Touch practitioners use their hands on and above the body to clear, energize, and balance energy. Like Reiki, Healing Touch is based on the belief that a vital energy flows through the human body.
Intuitive Touch
Intuitive Touch is a unique approach to energy healing practiced by Marie Sandoval-Warner. Trained in subtle hands-on therapies such as CranioSacral Therapy, Somato-Emotional Release and Lymph Drainage combined with Polarity Therapy and Chi Kung Therapeutic Touch, she has developed a deeply intuitive approach that combines all of these practices. During a massage or bodywork session, restrictions within energy meridians and chakras are found within the body. As these restrictions are cleared healing can occur at multiple levels.
